We tried a math lesson today and by we, I mean I stared blankly at a third-grade worksheet while my child asked why letters are in math now. I muttered something about algebra being a life skill, which he countered by asking if he could just hire a calculator when he grows up. I didnt have the energy to argue. Honestly, Im considering it too.
